 Liliya is a professional educator and consultant. Having worked with over 100 students throughout her career, she knows how hard it is to navigate the complex schools and university admissions processes. For 10 years she has been working to improve the lives of students through academic consulting as well as pursuing her passion for teaching through private tutoring. Liliya is committed to fostering the success of her students by helping them to find the right tutor as well as assist with any admissions enquiries in the UK and abroad. 

Jasmine is studying law at Cambridge. She loves studying Law, and knows how tough and difficult navigating the admissions process can be. She would really like to help upcoming students through it, and prepare them best I can for both admissions tests and interviews. Preparations include writing a stellar personal statement, honing skills for tackling the notorious LNAT (both multiple choice and essay sections), as well as plenty of interview preparation.

Sumbal is a dedicated Math, Physics, and Chemistry teacher with 10 years of overall teaching experience, including 7 years of online instruction for GCSE and A-Level students. Her expertise lies in delivering engaging, student-centered lessons tailored to both in-person and virtual environments. Over the years, she has developed effective teaching strategies that simplify complex concepts, helping students build a deep understanding of the subjects. Her approach emphasizes individualized learning, ensuring that each student is supported in their unique academic journey. Whether teaching face-to-face or online, she focuses on fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and academic confidence. Her goal is to not only help students meet their academic targets but also to inspire a genuine passion for learning, preparing them for success in further education and beyond.

James is a seasoned Computer Science tutor and also the Founding Director of Smash Your Exams, a leading online platform dedicated to helping students achieve top exam results. Since establishing Smash Your Exams, James has been at the forefront of delivering high-quality Computer Science tutoring, combining his extensive teaching experience with a passion for student success. With over 15 years of experience teaching Computer Science and ICT at Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level in a Northumberland secondary school, James has consistently guided students to exceptional academic achievements. As a subject leader of Computer Science, his department’s GCSE results ranked in the top 4% nationally, reflecting his deep expertise in the subject. In addition to his tutoring and leadership roles, James has collaborated with educators across the UK to enhance the teaching of Computer Science. He has also contributed to the delivery of numerous booster classes for A Level and GCSE students on behalf of the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE), having provided valuable support to students and trainee teachers nationwide.

Alexandra is our US Applications Consultant. Alexandra graduated from Georgetown University with a Master of Science in Biotechnology, BioBusiness track, and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from The George Washington University. Alexandra's professional interests lie at the nexus of the Life Sciences industry and financial analysis. Her passion about different cultures led her to minor in Arabic and live in several places around the world. As such, she has taken a number of classes in Biosciences at Georgetown, and gained experience working with a variety of clients from diverse industries during her time at Focus Investment Banking and at a CPA firm, Klausner & Company. Alexandra is happy to assist with the Ivy League applications and interviews, cover letters and CV editing in accounting and finance, especially for US firms. 

Timur is a Materials / Engineering student at DTU and a dedicated Mathematics and Physics tutor with hundreds of hours of teaching experience across various levels and curriculums. As an IB Diploma Programme graduate, he knows firsthand what it takes to achieve top academic results in the IB Diploma Programme. His academic dedication is reflected in multiple honors, including the CIS 2025 Academic Excellence Award, and finalist placements in the Desmos Math Competition and the 2024 & 2025 Georg Mohr Math Olympiads.

His approach emphasises individualised learning and tailoring his teaching to fit the unique demands of each student's current knowledge base. Timur is deeply committed to fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills, ensuring his students not only meet their exam targets but also build lasting academic foundations.
